The actual program begins at 1:00, but you are invited to join us at 12:30 for a social time during which you can visit the library table, the demo corner, the Show and Share table, and have refreshments.)

Brush painter Bob Schmitt will share his process in creating 16 paintings paired with original Chinese calligraphy inspired by traditional Zen artists and teachers. This will be a hands-on experience for attendees. Bob will invite us to try our hand at painting one stroke enso (Japanese for circle). A fun, eye-opening, heart-touching presentation is guaranteed.

Demo Corner: “Busier than a bee” barely comes close to describing the creative activities of Barb Makela. Always exploring new ground, Barb will demonstrate an embossing technique. She calls it “Mini Art in a Minit.” Stop by the demo corner, hang around there for just a minute, and walk away with a “make & take” of your very own.
